People in Nepal were forced to leave with small or shruken eye ball due to different reasons, moreover even if they had artificial eye most of them were using ready made artificial eye which either fall frequently because of poor fitting or needs everyday cleaning. Nepal lacked Custom made artificial eye service, so to provide quality custom made artifical eye we have started Prosthesis Laboratory in December 2017. Since then we started providing custom made artificial eye service which will measure the accurate size of individual so that it wont fall during sport or daily work. In addition it is well fitted, it needs to be cleaned only once in every 6 months. This kind of artificial eye will not break easily and may last up to 3-5 years once made

We are happy to announced that we have crossed 200+ custom made prosthesis since inception of Prosthesis Laboratory.

Prosthesis was offered to many of our valuable customers who have lost their eye due to trauma, eye cancer, infection and by birth absence of eye. Customers were delighted and satisfied with the artistist work of our ocularists. During this period, artificial eye service were received mainly from Nepal, India and Bhutan. Children aged from 2 years to adult aged 60 years 

We also offered free custom made prosthesis to needy children who suffered eye cancer and forced to leave without prosthesis due to low socio economic status. It was offered during World Retinoblastoma Week 2019.
